History
Hotaru is a career-driven woman 28 years of age. If a person has earned her loyalty, she will not cross him; others are of no significance.
Family
Hotaru grew up in Infinico. Her mother Clarice Clearwater abandoned her family when Hotaru was 8 years old. Her father Able Clearwater died when Hotaru was 19 years old. Hotaru’s 21-year-old sister Nathiya Clearwater lives with aunt Misty Clearwater in SE Infinico.
Journalism Career
Hotaru got her start in journalism as an assistant to a head anchor during her late teens. She is now the head foreign affairs correspondent for UTD News. Her go-to camera man and close friend Dennis Carolina travels with her to the Islands every visit. Hotaru has a contact on the island of Idylla whose home serves as her safe house.
