Eladi Minerson is a non-player character in the Open Skies campaign. He is an epic human archmage who specialized in conquest magic.

History
Eladi Minerson's original name has been lost due to his efforts to conceal his past. Little is known about his childhood, other than his family's struggles with poverty and debt. Miners by trade, Eladi's family moved with a speculating group to the Great Rift in an attempt to discover valuable mineral and metal deposits. Eladi mined on the rift through his childhood and into his adulthood until 1665, when he discovered the Eladi Sunstone. Using his newfound arcane power, he recruited follows, styling himself as a prophet-messiah, and began his self-proclaimed war to end all wars (namely, the conquest and unification of Cimmeria) in 1670 with the founding of the Empire of the Sun and construction of the Golden Tower. The Unification War lasted from 1670 until 1674, when it concluded with the bloody Massacre of Kaf. Following the war, Eladi has solidified his position as Grand Wizard, expanded his knowledge of magic, and managed intercity relations and trade.

Eladi the Emperor
In the August of 1675, thirteen months after the end of the Cimmerian War of Unification, Eladi ordered the majority of the remains of the Imperial Navy to set sail westward to a new continent, and placed Admiral Junah Narjis and General Dvalinn Ironspear in joint command.
Appearance
Eladi is six feet two inches tall and has glowing blue eyes and curly brown hair. His teeth are covered with a blue enamel, the sign of a Great Wizard. He carries a golden staff with a ruby set in the end, and wears a shimmering blue cloak, covered with gold and diamonds. His hands have never lost the rough callouses that mining has given them, but they are nevertheless adept at making intricate and magical motions.
