"Nicki" Gahdah al-Zaynah

"Nicki" Gahdah al-Zaynah is a character in the Open Skies campaign. Nicki was the first member of Cyra Melchior's task force, and served alongside her at the Battle of Rabigh. As one of the Invisibles, the Golden Oracle represents her with a unique tarot card: The Heiress.

Nicki, as she prefers to be called, is a swashbuckler with a thirst for fun and adventure. She likes to whistle, whittle, and is infatuated with (and married to) Adel Ibn Alim al-Rabigh. She hates her true name, as it has associations to her half-fiend mother (the daughter of a succubus). Nicki's grandmother is the notable fiend Lyili. Despite their different (and opposing) heritage, Nicki has found a comrade and kindred spirit in her husband, with whom she has a two-month old daughter, Adilah Bint Adel al-Rabigh. Her feeling of responsibility toward Adilah conflicts with her desire to adventure.

Nicki does not follow any god in particular, and resents many of the Gods for what she feels is are unfair judgments against her ancestors.
